Teaching is an art; the ability to adapt technique and apply past experiences to a variety of situations, in order to achieve the greatest result in the shortest amount of time, is fundamental. This means organizing effective teaching strategies, using various methods which meet the needs of each pupil.
The ski school’s role is not only to "create" excellent and safe skiers, but also to share the knowledge of how and where this wonderful sport can be practised. The snow-covered mountains and pistes become an unparalleled classroom, and the expert guidance of a good ski instructor, who all in one go can be an advisor, a reassuring help, a tourist guide and an entertainer, is the link between the expectations and the goals one has during a skiing holiday.
The ski school sets itself the objective of ironing out the various and sometimes complicated errors of each pupil making the most of a range of teaching facilities; a nursery area especially designed for children; speciliased teaching equipment; and specifically chosen support staff to help the instructors.
It is also the role of the ski school to be involved with the many aspects outside of ski lessons; advising guests of snow and piste conditions; informing them of the weather conditions and forecasts; offering other activities such as torch-lit descents, snow shoeing, traditional meals in mountain restaurants and organising demonstrations and races at all levels.
